West Coast Winter

Published on Saturday, January 31, 2015

With the big storm Juno that hit the East Coast a couple of days ago, I was following the event via Snapchat and felt a pang of envy. Why? Because I love the cold and the coldest it'll ever get in California is 50 degrees. There are days where I really want to master the art of layering or wear my long wool coats, but that would only result in me looking like a madwoman in such warm weather. I should move to New York, maybe for grad school? But in the meantime, this is the closest I'll get to layering. Also, been wearing my Franco Sarto boots and new faux leather jacket combo religiously every day since I bought it two weeks ago. I love how well they mesh together and the fur on the jacket just screams 'cool' in every way possible. It's refreshing and different to be adding a bit of texture to my outfits, so maybe I'll go all out with head-to-toe fur next time? I'm kidding...or am I? We'll see.

What I'm Wearing:
Forever 21 faux leather jacket (exact one) Eric + Lani shirt (similar here) H&M black jeans (similar here) wool hat (exact one ON SALE) Zara bag (exact here) Franco Sarto boots (similar here ON SALE)

  4. Looks as though you're having a seemingly mind winter. Unlike us folks here on the eastcoast. NYC is getting hit pretty hard. Nothing we can't handle. However, we don't have the luxury of looking this adorable... at this given time. Unfortunately/fortunately, it's still snowing out.
