One of my goals for 2015 is to be a healthier version of myself. That includes working out, drinking lots of water and eating healthier. With that being said, for the last couple of days, I've been obsessed with the ever so popular 'green juice.' I was hesitant at first because I would rather eat my vegetables than drink them. Nonetheless, it was my first attempt at making kale juice and it was surprisingly delicious. I like to drink this with a small breakfast in the morning and as a snack throughout the day. Super easy, delicious and healthy? Yes, please!
1-2 kale leaves
Lemon juice (optional)
Sliced the apples and cucumbers if needed and put all the ingredient in a juicer. If you don't have a juicer, like me, a blender works just as well. Just add a full cup of cold water to the blender and add the ingredients in. This is optional, but I just put a pinch of lemon juice for a citrus flavor. After, use a strainer to separate the juice and the pulp. And voila, you have your delicious green juice that is incredibly refreshing after a tiring workout. Super easy, right?!
