Goodbye Dry Skin: My Go-To Moisturizers

Published on Tuesday, December 30, 2014

Even though I live in Southern California and the weather usually never drops below 50, the colder climate is still harsh on my skin.
Lately, my skin has developed a bit of an annoying rash and increase in redness especially after I get out of the shower. I've been pondering about this and realized that I take too hot of a shower and that may be the reason behind my rash and redness. Even if that's the case, I'm still going to shower in hot water cause I'd freeze to death otherwise. But luckily, I have my favorite moisturizers that I use on the daily to help minimize my redness, dryness and rash.

1. La Roche Posay Moisturizer: Mentioned this a couple of times on the blog before and I can honestly say this is my all-time holy grail amazeballs one hell of a moisturizer. The smooth substance makes for an easy application and it's fragrance free. It leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh looking. Goodbye winter dry skin! (get it here)

2. Olay Complete All Day Moisturizers: When I'm not using my La Roche Posay moisturizer, I often use this one. Haha in case you can't tell, I like to alternate my moisturizers cause I'm indecisive and can't decide on one moisturizer cause I love them all. But anyways, I've been using this one ever since my budding pre-teen years because my parents both love it too and it has always been in the family's bathroom cabinet. The substance is lot more liquid-y than the La Roche Posay one, but the result is just as comparable. (get it here)

3. Sephora Instant Moisturizer: Got this little gem as a bonus gift from Sephora, you know those gifts that they give you whenever you reach a certain points? Well yeah it's this one. I didn't think much of it when I got it, but once I've started using it, it was definitely a game changer. I love a thick texture when it comes to moisturizers and this definitely satisfied that. It leaves my face feeling silky and help lengthen my makeup wear. (get it here)
